Melanie Cramer (Ms Melanie): After a not-so-brief period when I wanted to be a ballerina, art has been my passion. Education is the family business and I grew up on the campus of High Point College (now university). Art degree in hand, I set off to change the world of print advertising at the local newspaper. I moved up to Norfolk to focus on my growing family, fell in love with my daughter's preschool and taught the three-year-old class there for 6 years. Outside the Lines is my way of sharing what I believe about the power of visual art with the next generation.
