Open Studio 

(5th through 8th Grades)

For highly motivated artists who want to work on their own, self-selected pieces at their own pace. Each class begins with a quick sketchbook activity. Students choose an artist to learn about and emulate, then create their own, individual masterpieces. We all learn about the artists chosen and encourage each other in our work.  

The class operates on a punchcard system to accommodate older kids' busy schedules. Need to miss a class or two? No problem!

Open Studio students enjoy many perks, like set-up parties for exhibits and a special gallery in the end of year art show. Visits from local artists and field trips are planned too!

Tuesdays 5:30 - 6:30 pm beginning Sept. 11

Cost:

$130 Punchcard good for any 10 classes 
One-Time Materials/Registration Fee of $30  for New Students
10% Discount for Church Members OR Siblings

Who Want to Study Art in an Open Studio Setting

Fridays 4:00 to 5:00

Beginning March 2nd

Classes will begin with a sketchbook activity then students will work on their own, self-selected piece at their own pace. Student creations will be highlighted in the annual art show, June 3rd.

10 Class Sessions for $130

(That gives you 3 free Fridays between now and June!)

Beginning Artists (Age 4 - 6)

Tuesdays 1:00 - 2:00 pmTuesdays 4:00 - 5:00 pm
Wednesdays 1:00 - 2:00 pm
Class is limited to six to provide individualized attention.


Young Artists (1st through 5th grade)

Wednesdays 4:30 - 5:30 pm
Thursdays 4:00 - 5:00 pm
Class is limited to eight to provide individualized attention.


Cost:

$50 per month Sept. through May

$30 one-time materials fee due the first class.
